CSoC Definitions Launched

1st Anniversary Celebration Curtain Raiser & Launch of Definitions for the terms "Corporate Governance" and "Compliance Management":

CS Students' Online Club (CSoC) the India's largest reputed online community for budding corporate professionals, especially of CS fraternity, today unveiled its official definitions for the terms "Corporate Governance" and "Compliance Management".

The Club will reach its 1st Anniversary of its launch on 18th June, 2010. To mark this occasion it has launched its definitions as a Curtain Raiser for Anniversary Celebrations.

As per the web release "it's our initiative for further strengthening CSoC Research Desk and we will come out with various research works, which will contribute to the Corporate World in micro level".

According to the CSoC Founder "we are planning to come out with research papers to brand and promote the need of compliance management, corporate governance, and secretarial audit; to start with we hereby launch our official definition for the most relevant two terms".

CSoC Definition of Corporate Governance:

"Corporate Governance is the culture of managing a corporate entity, whereby compliance with law, procedures, systems, code of ethics and best practices are ensured thus adding value to shareholders and contributing to the well being of all stakeholders."

CSoC Definition of Compliance Management:

"Compliance Management is that part of management which specializes in compliance with laws, rules, regulations, code of conduct, management polices, systems and secretarial standards in order to achieve the organization objectives legally, ethically and transparently."
