Hi Seniors, In my office they are deducting professional for every month. But they are not fileing it. My doubt is, if we collect professional tax whether we need to pay it for government or it belongs to the employer. If we need to pay it to government what is the procedure. Greetings All, Whether PF deduction is applicable on Overtime. We have contract labour doing 12 hrs shift, As a current practice, we have been showing normal shift of 8 hrs & rest 4 hrs we have been showing as extra duties. What contractor is doing that they have been showing this part as other allowance in the salary slip. What is the currect way to go forward. Regards Ranjeet Do u Agree??

hi all seniors I am working in a small scale concern and our direct is in direct touch with all employees. there is a running issue that when ever any of the employee use to go on holiday, our employer become disetisfy and use to call again and again, above to that we use to deduct salary for every holiday, there is no holidays allowed in year. I have resigned on 27/06/11 my one year will be completed on 31/06/11. but i am still serving notice period. so am I eligible for the retention bonus ?
