Hi Friends, We are an apparel manufacturing facility doing export business. We employee around 3000 people. For some specific operations we hire outside contractors who will bring in their machines to our factory and do the specific speciallised operations. If their number of workers working in our factory is less than 10, does we need to deduct ESI and PF for their workers as principal employer? Self appraisal - nice story

Hi my Expert Friends, We have 5 days working office (Monday to Friday) and have Saturday and Sunday off. We work for 9:30 hrs per day. Now if I call any employee to work on Saturday, how should I compensate him. Do I have to give him compensatory off on forthcoming week or pay him as per over time rate or both. Dear Friends, I have a query regarding waving off P.F capped basic. Our company is almost 10 years old ,from inception restricted basic Rs. 6500/- (capped basic) and deducting the same accordingly. Recently our company has decided to waive off the capped basic from March onwards (staring month of P.F contributions) and going to deduct on actual basic.
