Dear Seniors, I completed M.Sc.Bioinformatics.Currently I am doing MBA in HR through distance education. I am working as an Admin & HR Assistant in UAE for past 4 years. My company contains more than 100 employees. I love my work as well my coworkers. Last year 4 employees were terminated in my department. Hi, Is it possible to take non-refundable loan from EPF for buying plot? I have completed 5 years in current job. First 3 years PF contribution was in EPF office Mumbai while last 2 years contribution is in EPF office Chennai since due to some internal adjustments, employer transferred few cases belonging to a subsidiary company to Chennai EPF office. I have not transferred PF balance from Mumbai Can gratuity be claimed on completion of 240 days during fifth year ?

Dear seniors, the gratuity is payable only after completion of 5 years of continuous service under same organisation.in case the employee has worked for 4 years and 9 months can he claim gratuity ? If we consider the provisions of industrial dispute act - 1948, person who has worked for more than 240 days in continuation is deemed to have completed continuous service of one year. Can the period of About time office ?
